Video Monitoring has now become an every day necessity tool for surveillance of your employee no matter what sort of business you operate as it helps in keeping the work flow in a good position, that whenever the boss could ask from the employee about his status on the job, even it helps to come to know about the problems faced by the employee.

CCTV stands for Closed Circuit Television, it is called this as unlike television it is not openly transmitted, it is built within a "closed circuit". It is used primarily for surveillance/security of property, commercial and domestic, however it is being utilised for many other reasons such as health & safety, sports activity recording, factory/industrial production monitoring and even bird watching. Its a very smart way to protect your office.

As long as the employees are well aware they being filmed and all laws are being met I see no reason why a company would not want a camera or two in a few strategic places.

Security cameras, whether it is ordinary camera or wireless theft that may occur, the best defense. Well-placed camera can act as a deterrent to would be thieves, because many of them do not want to risk being arrested. The camera can also provide crucial evidence, if the stolen things. The entire security system will be a great idea, but you can install the camera, to help resolve the current problem, or to stop a problem before the start.

I think video monitoring for companies can be very valuable. I think it is extremely valuable is the business is:

-Cash heavy and relies heavily on cash sales

-Product heavy where the employer is more susceptible to theft of merchandise

-Jobs where there is lots of risk or danger involved

-Businesses exposed to possible illegal activity (i.e. selling alcohol)

As long as the employees are well aware they being filmed and all laws are being met I see no reason why a company would not want a camera or two in a few strategic places. Camera's are one of the very few things that lie and can be great allies to employers in court or other questionable situations.
